Aswad Engineering is able to handle the management of any kind of factory relocation or turnkey installation of machinery. Utilising a combination of own skilled labour and specialist subcontractors under the supervision of Aswad Engineering’s project managers, we can act as prime contractor for the management of large projects.

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENT AND CDM

Undertaking mostly large scale projects involving more than 500 person per days of work, Aswad Engineering is fully aware of the CDM regulations. As principal contractor we are able to develop and implement the Health Safety plan, and also ensure co-operation and co-ordination of the different contractors on site.

On international sites, Aswad Engineering makes sure its working conditions and safety management comply with the local regulations and the customer requirements.

Each project manager has been trained to create risk assessments when necessary, to evaluate risks and to monitor Health & Safety performance on site.

Aswad Engineering believes that Health Safety management is crucial and employs a full time Health & Safety Manager who carries out regular site inspections on our projects to ensure that every precaution is being taken and all work is carried out safely.

 

PROJECT PLANNING

Clever management leads a project to success. From experience, Aswad Engineering has gained the ability to create realistic and competitive programs of work, allowing to reduce drastically the amount of hours lost during a relocation or installation. This comes with the planning and programming of projects in accordance with the clients needs, but also the preparation of “as built” drawings.

Finally, the client will be kept updated thanks to our project control documentation. Aswad Engineering keep accurate records of its labour and machinery installations so that the customer has a clear idea of the work undertaken and can confirm or modify future schedules to ensure that the job is carried out successfully and with minimum delays.
